Here, the Little Mermaid is portrayed as a weary mother tending to her four “little mermaids” on the beach, while the Prince lounges in his chair, sipping a margarita, utterly oblivious to the chaos around him. The image critiques the unequal emotional and physical labor often expected of women, highlighting the tension between caregiving and personal sacrifice.
